The Safety & Emergency Procedures Training (SEPT) for pilots is a critical recurrent training programme designed to refresh and enhance flight deck crew competency in managing emergencies, abnormal situations, and safety-critical procedures. This training ensures pilots maintain proficiency in handling in-flight emergencies, coordinating with cabin crew, and executing emergency drills in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices.

This course is mandatory for licensed pilots requiring recurrent SEPT training to maintain regulatory compliance. It is also suitable for flight crew transitioning to new aircraft types or seeking to enhance their emergency response skills.

  • Ditching and Water Survival: Flight deck preparations, communication, and post-ditching actions
  • Unruly Passenger and Security Threats: Managing security incidents from the flight deck
  • Medical Emergencies: Supporting cabin crew and coordinating medical diversions
  • Flight Deck Resource Management (FRM): Enhancing crew coordination during emergencies
